Skyelark Lodge is in the north-west of Skye surrounded by hills, crofters’ fields and the sea. The stunning view out of the pod’s large panoramic windows looks across the loch towards the Waternish Peninsular and one of MacLeod’s Tables, as does the view from the deck, whilst a side view offers glimpses across the Minch to the Isle of Harris. If the conditions are right you might be treated to a display of the northern lights or see a pod of dolphins from this elevated viewpoint.
We are located in a rural area on the quiet Kildonan loop road near Edinbane, handily located halfway between Portree and Dunvegan. This offers a haven of tranquillity but you will need your own transport to reach us and to enjoy the attractions and facilities of the island. We are about 12 miles from the island capital of Portree which offers a good range of shops, places to eat and services, and 10 miles from the charming village of Dunvegan.
